History: No one seems to know who she is or who she once was... All she knew when she was awoken from her slumber was the fact that "Lady Sylvanas' forces would find use for her" and that she was to start her training at once. The Dark Cleric who chose to take her under his wing helped bring her to some sort of awareness, embedding in her mind the duty that she was to serve as a priestess, seeing as her life was severely tainted by the plague. She believes it is her mission to cleanse fauna and flora alike.
It has been hinted that she may have some telepathic/precognition ability, given that she can pick up individuals' names without prior introduction.
Personality: She is often clueless, if not clearly distant or curious; also shy and very quiet most of the time. Her quietness, however, often leaves people thinking she knows what she's doing or believing she's stuck-up [which she finds convenient]. Seeing as the rot and decay hadn't reached her ears nor claimed her eyes, she makes good use of them; her hearing and sight her most-prized senses. She breathes out of mere habit. She also loves to hop and has an odd curiosity for the Dalaran humans.
Currently, she still has her air-headed moments, but since her recovery of her beloved feline, Tumnus, her memory and ability to work out certain problems has improved greatly since her awakening. She also loves to sit on high ledges, mailboxes, and in corners --basically anything flat-- to read books.
Her first trainer in Deathknell called her "Whimsi" after her rather colorful, random and whimsical statement of "Ah, doornails..." These words formed the first statement to come from her cold lips, helping with giving her a nickname.
Appearance: This Forsaken steps along lightly, though often tripping over her bony toes. Her once black-brown hair has become discolored from her slumber in her tomb and has been cut short to rid her of the need to brush it away from her eyes. Her pale skin no longer carries any sort of tan pigment, though most of it is intact; a dreamy smile and nearly vacant expression compose her facial features. Her joints have started to show pieces of bone; her toes and fingers are also exposed, as well as the top vertebrae of her spine and her pelvic bone. She slouches, standing hunched over, due to the uncomfortable position she was buried in.
The glowing pupils set in her sunken sockets glow a vivid yellow, though at times, her right eye may discolor into a pale green or white. When she speaks, her voice is airy and soft. Draped over her lithe and petite frame, sewn bits of tailored cloth cover her to give her a more decent appearance. By the looks of her face, it would seem as though the plague had taken over her body when she was merely out of her teenage years. Despite the sight of her decayed flesh, her overall scent seems to be composed of a subtle peacebloom and mageroyal perfume.

The skeletal steed she sits highly upon, despite her hunched-over posture, neighs with a raspy, grating noise. His once muscular frame is now barely skin and bone, though his hind legs and underbelly still sport his grey pelt, which has discolored to a blue shade. It is highly apparent that Whimsi was over-excited in becoming his rider; he is fitted with a regal, crafted sapphire-adorned bit, silver chain reins, and a lavender leather saddle [which sports his name "Zombie" embossed in elegant script lettering].
Timeline:
+ 1: The First War begins [between orcs and humans]. Whimsi [once named Elodi Barnes] is born.
+ 4: The First War ends.
+ 6: The Second War begins; the Horde has now recruited jungle trolls. The Horde invades Lordaeron and destroys much of Quel’Thalas.
+ 20: The Third War and The Scourge (the undead plague) begin. As the nation of Lordaeron is consumed by the plague, Whimsi/Elodi Barnes perishes from disease; however, she did not rise again as a zombie as most of her fellow citizens had, and her body was laid to rest near Brill. Quel’Thalas falls under Arthas’ attack backed by an army of undead; in defense of the city, Sylvanas Windrunner is killed and resurrected as his minion. The Tauren join the Horde. Joining forces, both Horde and Alliance work together to drive out the Burning Legion at The Battle of Mount Hyjal.
+ 22: Lady Sylvanas Windrunner rebels against the Lich King and forms the Forsaken, who join the Horde.
+ 26: A group of Forsaken scouts find Elodi's body a few feet from her robbed grave due to mischievous gnoll activity. They take her back to Deathknell and pile her among the other gathered corpses. Elodi Barnes, after Dark Cleric Duesten's approval, is awoken/resurrected and is renamed "Whimsi."
